SERVICE AGREEMENT
This agreement explains our obligations to you (hereafter referred to as, “Client”, “Customer”, or “you”) and Vancouver Detailed Solutions Inc (hereafter referred to as “Detailed Solutions”, “detailer”, “technician”, “us”, “our”, or “we” ) and your obligations to us in relation to the service(s) you purchase. By using our service you agree to the full terms of this agreement, without modification by you. By using the services of Detailed Solutions you hereby agree to the following terms:
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the amount of time it takes to perform top quality services and the size of our operation, cancellations and reschedules have a lasting effect. For this reason, if you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment so we can fill that time slot and to avoid our cancellation fee totalling $200. The following terms and conditions apply to all appointments:
We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment or service.
Detailed Solutions reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in accordance with its staff levels, weather conditions or equipment failure.
OPERATING & MOVING YOUR VEHICLE
Customer will give Detailed Solutions access to the vehicle during the detail job and any additional mutually agreed upon times. This document insures that you authorize us to operate and to move your vehicle, as necessary to do so determined by our Detailed Solutions staff.
QUALITY OF SERVICE
We want you to be satisfied with our service. No services offered are guaranteed to completely restore your vehicle to any previous or new condition. We will try our absolute best to restore the vehicle to the best condition possible and within the constraints of our resources, time, and expertise. We will conduct a final inspection together, with you, at the end of the job. If, after the final inspection and after we have left, you find our service unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address your concern. Detailed Solutions will not be held liable for any concerns after 24 hours of completion or if you did not complete the final inspection with our Detailed Solutions technician.
ACCIDENTS, PRE-EXISTING CONDITION AND DAMAGE
Detailed Solutions and its contractors cannot be held responsible for any damage to the vehicle while in our care. We are as careful as possible. We are professionals and are skilled at what we do. If something does get damaged while detailing your vehicle, we will advise you of the incident. By agreeing to our detailing services you also agree not to hold Detailed Solutions liable for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle. Detailed Solutions limits its liability to the total dollar amount of each job.
FEES, TERMS OF SERVICE, AND PAYMENT TERMS
The fee for our service is the agreed dollar amount, indicated as “Total” on the quote. The "Approximate Time Required" is for the amount of time reserved by us to complete the services you requested and not for any specific outcome. The amount of time reserved is an estimate since the condition of each vehicle varies. It is possible that the job could take less or more time than the time reserved.
PROVIDING FEEDBACK AND PHOTOS
We ask for your feedback. Please send us an email at (info@detailedsolutions.ca) and let us know if there are ANY concerns – good or bad. We also carry the right at the discretion of Detailed Solutions to use pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes and to publish on its website (www.detailedsolutions.ca) or any of our Social Media. Your personal information will not be shown in the photos.
TERMINATION OF SERVICE
Detailed Solutions may cancel any new or existing quotes with clients if we experience that the customer is not the right fit for our services at the discretion of Detailed Solutions. Instances of service termination include: being rude or harsh to Detailed Solutions employees, or any other reason we determine to be worthy of service termination by our discretion.
CHANGES
Detailed Solutions reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. Any changes to this Service Contract will be listed in this section, Detailed Solutions does not make any commitment to update the materials.
INTRODUCTION
In this Service Agreement “Agreement”, “you” and “your” refer to each “customer.” Including each (agent) you designate to act on your behalf. “Detailed Solutions Vancouver Inc” herein shall refer to Detailed Solutions, its members, managers, and employees. This Agreement explains our obligations to you, and your obligations to us in relation to the service(s) you purchase. If you designate a person to act on our behalf, you agree that this person is your agent with full authority to act on your behalf with respect to such services and your vehicle. Detailed Solutions will not accept a job without a written agreement. Please refer to the accompanying quote or specific information regarding the day and time of your requested service (job) specific to your vehicle. By using our service, you agree to the terms of this agreement, without modification to you.
FEES, TERMS OF SERVICE, AND PAYMENT
The fee for our service is the agreed dollar amount, indicted as “Total” on the service quote. The term of service is for the amount of time reserved by us to complete the “job” you requested and not for any specific outcome. The amount of time reserved is an estimate since the condition of each vehicle varies. It is possible that the job could be less or more time than the time reserved. If you have extra/special requests, please let us know at the time the service order is written. Your quote will not change unless agreed upon.
Any alterations or changes after the initial quote has been issued will be at an extra charge. Any alterations or charges to the initial quote must be approved in writing between you and Detailed Solutions before any extra work begins. Any changes to fees and/or time, be it verbal or in writing, will not affect the substance of this agreement and all the terms herein will still apply with the new rate and/or time. A minimum 10% deposit is required at the time you book your appointment to hold that time for you. The balance is due in full on completion. We accept cash, debit, major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) and Bitcoin. Please do not leave any payments in the vehicle. In the event an account requires legal or collection action, you agree to pay all costs of the collection without limitations for reasonable attorney fees, interest on the past due amount, court costs, and all collection costs.
PAST DUE INVOICES
Customer understands that all payments are to be made prior to the release of vehicle to the owner. Any invoices that go unpaid over 15 days will receive a late fee penalty, after the first 15 days past due with an email sent out to inform of a past due amount. Late fee penalties are $250 every 15 days the invoice goes unpaid beyond the completion date until paid in full.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Service by Detailed Solutions is by scheduled appointment only. As a result, it is required to leave a deposit to reserve a specific time. The time reserved for cancelled services can be difficult to fill within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
Accordingly, cancellations within 48 hours before the scheduled service are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, that may be taken out of any deposit.
Cancellations within 24 hours before the scheduled service are subject to forfeiture of the entire deposit.
Deposits are a minimum 10% of the total amount and are non-refundable
VEHICLE STORAGE FEES
We have limited space at Detailed Solutions, as such, your vehicle will be subject to a $25 per day storage fee, before and after the service is provided. You agree to this storage fee. The fee only applies if the vehicle has been left for longer than 7 days after the completion date.
DAMAGE OR LOSS, INSURANCE
i. The Owner shall be responsible for ensuring that appropriate motor vehicle insurance coverage, including physical damage coverage, is in force and effect for the term of this contract and shall provide proof of such coverage if requested. If the owner does not maintain appropriate motor vehicle insurance coverage for the vehicle for the duration of the term of this contract, Detailed Solutions will in no event be liable to the owner for damage to the vehicle.
ii. Detailed Solutions shall not be liable for consequential, indirect, special, incidental or punitive damages under any circumstances.
iii. Detailed Solutions will not be liable for loss or damage occasioned by gradual deterioration of the vehicle due to exposure to the elements, nor for loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by terrorist acts, invasion, insurrection, riot, civil war, or by military or usurped power or by order of any government or governmental authority or any other circumstance beyond Detailed Solutions control.
iv. Detailed Solutions shall not be responsible for the loss of or damage to the vehicle, or injury to persons occurring in or about the vehicle, by reason of use or operation of the vehicle by the owner or other persons not employed by Detailed Solutions, or by reason of the acts, omissions or negligence of the owner or other persons in and about the vehicle.
DETERMINING THE COST OF YOUR SERVICES
Detailed Solutions reserves the right to adjust the costs on any quotes after we have visually inspected your vehicle. A quote is valid for 30 days. A quote is not binding beyond 30 days of the date of the quote OR if the vehicle condition changes between the time the vehicle was inspected and scheduled appointment.

We want you to be satisfied with our service. Our motto is Quality over Quantity, however we are not perfect. No services offered are guaranteed to completely restore the vehicle to any previous or new condition. We will try our absolute best to restore the vehicle to the best condition possible and within the constraints of our resources, time, and expertise. If, after the final inspection, you find our service unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address your concern. Detailed Solutions will not be held liable for any concerns after 24 hours of completion.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITION AND DAMAGE
“I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS “Detailed Solutions Vancouver Inc”, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS I AND ANY ATTENDING FAMILY OR CHILD UNDER MY GUARDIANSHIP, MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY MAY ARISE SOLELY OUT OF NEGLIGENCE OR CARELESSNESS ON THE PART OF “Detailed Solutions” AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS, INCLUDING STRICT LIABILITY. “You agree to hold Detailed Solutions harmless for any damage or claims whatsoever to the vehicle, regardless of whether such damage or claims arise solely out of negligence or recklessness on the part of Detailed Solutions while in in our care.”
PREPARING YOUR VEHICLE
Prior to arrival, please remove all important items from the vehicle. Please empty any compartments remove all cash, jewelry and other valuables. If for any reason you do not want a particular area of your vehicle to be cleaned or detailed, please let us know before we begin. We will package any personal items we find while servicing your vehicle into plastic bags and remove them from the vehicle. We will return the items to your vehicle once we're finished. You agree to not hold us responsible for damage or loss to any item left inside or outside the vehicle. “You agree to hold Vancouver Detailed Solutions Inc harmless for any lost or stolen property from the vehicle while in in our care.”
COST OF TIME
Detailed Solutions provides high quality, certified professional services. As such, at a minimum, we both agree that Detailed Solutions technicians time is worth $120 per hour.
WINDOW FILM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DRYING TIME
Your new window film will take 3-5 days before you can roll your windows down. It will take 2-3 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions.
WINDOW FILM REMOVAL
Window film removal may cause the window defroster to be damaged by Detailed Solutions to proceed with the window film removal the customer hereby acknowledges the risk involved and waives any claims against Detailed Solutions and agrees to hold Detailed Solutions harmless in the event that damage does occurs during the removal process.
IMPERFECTIONS
Although we strive for perfection in our window film installations, due to the nature of the product, some degree of dust or contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every window film application. Also pre existing flaws and or scratches are often much more noticeable after the windows are tinted. Older vehicles will have more imperfections due to its age.
WINDSHIELD FILM APPLICATION
There will be minor imperfections on every windshield installation It will be easier to see due to the film being installed on the front windshield. Do not apply any cleaners or windshield accessories on the windshield for 7 days. There is no refund and warranty coverage on the rainbow effect due to polarized glasses of any kind
WARRANTY
Your warranties will cover bubbling, peeling, fading, yellowing during the warranty period on the warranty card. Detailed Solutions doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use or accidents. All warranties set forth herein are not conveyed to owner
PAINT PROTECTION FILM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DRYING TIME
Your new paint protection film will take a minimum of 14 days to fully cure depending on weather conditions. Do not wash the vehicle for 14 days. Wrapped vehicles should be back for an inspection within 3-4 weeks. This is our maintenance wash program and is included with all PPF & Coating packages to ensure quality.
CONDITION OF VEHICLE FOR PAINT PROTECTION FILM APPLICATION
Client is aware that the design of the paint protection film is for OEM factory paint. The client waives and releases Detailed Solutions from any warranty or damage claims where a product has been applied to a non-OEM painted surface.
INSTALLATION
Some of our paint protection kits are computer cut using special cutting software. Pre-cut kits involve stopping short of an edge, edges around badges, washers and corners. The customer understands that the paint protection film is a sacrificial layer for your car and not a complete invisible layer. Customers may choose to have a custom design fit or bulk install for an additional fee.
HEADLIGHTS
Headlights are not recommended for paint protection film due to HID features and some exterior coatings on the lens themselves. By authorizing Detailed Solutions to proceed with the headlight film application, customers hereby acknowledge the risk and waives any claims against Detailed Solutions and agrees to hold Detailed Solutions harmless in the event that damage does occur during the installation process.
PAINT PROTECTION FILM REMOVAL
Paint Protection Film removal may cause damage to the paint. By authorizing Detailed Solutions to proceed with the removal, the customer hereby acknowledges the risk and waives any claims against Detailed Solutions and agrees to hold Detailed Solutions harmless in the event that damage does occur during the removal process.
IMPERFECTIONS
Although we strive for perfection in our installations, due to the nature of this product, some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every Paint Protection Film application. Also, Pre-existing flaws, such as scratches, rock chips, debris in the paint, debris in the clear coat, mis aligned body panels, sanding marks are much more noticeable after the paint protection film is applied. Paint Protection Film will have minor imperfections such as slight orange peel and may also include other minor defects from vehicles with 500 or more kilometres may have more imperfections due to mileage and use.
WARRANTIES
Your warranties will cover bubbling, peeling, fading, yellowing during the warranty period on the warranty card.
